Is Paris Burning? You bet your Chablis and Brie

As the Allies approached, Hitler ordered the burning of Paris. But Nazi General von Choltitz, fearing Allied anger, kept stalling. Repeatedly, Hitler would telephone von Choltitz to ask: “Is Paris burning?” Guess who saved Paris in August, 1944?

Sixty-one years later, parts of Paris are actually burning and other parts of Western Europe are in flames as well. But how is it that Islamo-fascist thugs can do, in 2005, what Hitler could not get done in 1944?

Paris is burning because French politicians “bought” peace with the Muslim immigrants from their former colonies in the Middle East and Africa by granting them French citizenship and then refusing to assimilate their dark-skinned countrymen. Moreover, the French only grudgingly received immigrants of European origin whom they derisively called: pieds noirs or black feet. Thus, the French created an unwelcoming atmosphere ready-made for the entreaties of the militant Mullahs who are still angry over the defeat of Islamic forces at the hands of the French at the Battle of Tours in 732 A.D.

If the French do not get their act together, their 25-percent (and growing), Muslim population will eventually seize power and the Parisian elites, who rarely bother to attend Catholic services, may awaken one day to find they must face Mecca, pray five times daily, and attend the Mosques or face death. French Jews? The Islamo-fascists can’t wait to finish what Hitler started.

While the fires we see burning on TV may seem far away and harmless to us, it is entirely possible for us to be defeated by the Islamo-fascists. So says retired U.S. Air Force Major General (Dr.) Vernon Chong: “We can lose the war by ‘imploding’. That is, defeating ourselves by refusing to recognize the enemy and their purpose, and really digging in and lending full support to the war effort. If we are united, there is no way we can lose. If we continue to be divided, there is no way that we can win!”

So what if we lose to the Islamo-fascists? General Chong says, “… A great many of us think that losing the war means hanging our heads, bringing the troops home, and going about our business, like post-Vietnam….What losing means is: We would no longer be the premier country in the world. The attacks would not subside, but rather, will steadily increase. Remember, they want us dead, not just quiet… We would, of course, have no future support from other nations, for fear of reprisals, and for the reason that they would see that we are impotent, and cannot help them….

“They will pick off the other non-Muslim nations, one at a time… They already hold Spain hostage. It doesn’t matter whether it was right or wrong for Spain to withdraw its troops from Iraq. Spain did it because the Muslim terrorists bombed their train, and told them to withdraw their troops. Anything else they want Spain to do, will be done. Spain is finished….

“…If we lose the war, our production, income, exports, and way of life will all vanish, as we know it. After losing, who would trade or deal with us, if they were threatened by the Muslims?

“…Some have gone so far in their criticism of the war and/or the Administration that it almost seems they would literally like to see us lose…this isn’t because they are disloyal. It is because they just don’t recognize what losing means.”

Recently, the father of a Marine shared what his Iraq-veteran son had to say: “…morale among our guys is very high. They not only believe they are winning, but winningly decisively. They are stunned and dismayed by what they see in the American press, whom they almost universally view as against them…They are inflicting casualties at a 20-1 rate and then see [crap] like ‘Are we losing in Iraq?’ on TV.”

Are the liberals in Congress and the Sinistra Media playing politics with our national security? Or, do they just not understand what happens if we lose?
