Master Eneryg: Master Foes and Famine
If the American Presidency was like a Medieval Guild, then Donald J. Trump served a four-year Apprenticeship. Now Donald J. Trump is in the role of Master, able to say "You’re fired," to some and "You’re hired to others." President Trump’s success will depend on how well he selects his Apprentices and which Apprentices the Congress permits him to employ.
But while President Trump is busy getting our domestic house back in order. Existential geo-political issues can be resolved by reducing the cost of energy. Recall, in today’s world, that anything produced by Humankind requires energy, be it a bushel of wheat or a computer chip. The Law of Supply and Demand tells us that flooding the world with low-cost energy will reduce the cost of goods and services, world-wide. That is where the good old USA comes in.
The USA and its neighbors can produce amounts of oil, natural gas, and coal like the world has never seen before. Flooding the world market with oil and gas a rock-bottom prices will crash the oil sales dependent economies of Russia and Iran. Cash-strapped Russia will have to leave Ukraine alone. Iran-dependent Islamic Jihad will wither away. Red China which must import 80-percent of its energy and food will be more interested a good price for U.S. oil and gas and U.S. wheat than invading Taiwan.
Environmentalists should note that an energy supreme America can modify the behavior of air polluting nations such as Russia, Red China and India by rewarding reductions in their emissions with more favorable treatment in any number of trade deals, or not.
Everyone with a concern for others should note that by reducing the cost of fertilizer that those nations short of arable land -- parts of Africa, Red China, and the Middle East come to mind -- can be saved from famine. Wheat is the weed that feeds most of the world. Given enough water and fertile properly selected varieties it can grow most anywhere.
All of the wonderful results outlined above are now possible because U.S. voters just slammed the door on any further adventures in to Marxism, making their preference for free-market Capitalism crystal clear.
`` Finally, here is some hidden history about the authors of Communism. Karl Marx, who lived almost his entire life inside the British Museum never held a job, depending on handouts from Fredrich Engels, the drunken, whoring wastrel son of a rich Capitalist mill owner. An economic, social, and political system concocted by these two strange men with no practical knowledge of the world of work deserved to fail as it did with the fall of the USSR .
Putin’s neo-fascism, President XI’s wrong-headed expansionism, and Iran’s quest to destroy Israel with an atomic bomb must be stopped. Not by American force of arms in additional endless wars but with American control of the world oil and gas market. The former Apprentice, now the Master, should seize this great opportunity that is before him.
